Project Management

From the onset of design, through construction and start-up, Bay-Tec provides consistent Project Management via a dedicated Project Manager working as the single point of responsibility for all coordination and correspondence. Bay-Tec Project Managers utilize multiple tools which furnish the information essential to maintaining budgets, schedules, and overall project quality while having the format from which to communicate progress status to the entire Project Team.

Project Management of the control system development and construction cycle is critical for a timely start-up and ultimately beginning validation phases on time. Bay-Tec has developed a detailed program for managing the implementation of a control system.

Project Quality & Consistency
  • Standard Operating Procedures for all functions insure consistent quality throughout project cycle.
Project Schedule
  • Scheduling software is maintained throughout a project's duration.
Budget
  • Detailed budgets and cost centers are established and expenses are evaluated as incurred throughout the project cycle.
Software Development
  • In-Progress testing of defined control modules provides the Project Manager with knowledge of software completion status to avoid start-up delays.
Material Procurement
  • All material is tracked in Bay-Tec's Systems Integrators tracking database,
    BayTrak™. The database is updated with respect to delivery, bench testing,
    transmittal installation, calibration, etc.
Installation/Commissioning
  • Bay-Tec participates actively in project coordination meetings to insure timely installation of instrumentation.
  • Loop checks are performed and documented as completed and this progress is incorporated into the BayTrak database.
  • Site Acceptance Testing for system and punch list completion.
